Cory joined the investment world in 2004 and brings an extensive amount of planning experience to his clients. Cory served as a financial advisor at Key Investment Services and as a financial advisor at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University and his Master’s degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University.

Locally, Cory is a board member for the Elkhart County Junior Achievement & Lemonade Day.

Cory lives on Shavehead Lake with his wife, Brittany and their son Foster, daughter Lakelee, as well as their dog Ruby and cat Prudence. In his spare time, Cory can be found cooking, collecting records, attending live music shows, and spending time with his family on the lake.

Melvin "Mel" Jacobson

In his role, Mel strives to address the individual needs of each of his clients while taking into account their financial objectives – striving to ensure they have the income they need and a plan designed to pursue the retirement they want. Attentive and dedicated, he fosters long-term relationships with clients and their families in order to provide them with comprehensive financial planning services.

Mel served as a registered representative for more than 18 years with Integrated Resources, Royal Alliance and Partners Financial. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

Originally from Chicago, Mel lives in Bristol with Deborah, his wife of more than 40 years. He was a member of the Elcona Country Club for 25 years and he served as a board member of Elkhart’s Rotary Club and YMCA, where he acted as financial chairman. In his free time, Mel enjoys swimming, scuba diving and playing racquetball.

Scott is a firm believer in the concept that the deeper the knowledge of his clients situations the better he can plan for their futures. His passion for his work is evident while he is helping guide them through the custom financial plans that he builds for them.

Scott joined the investment world in 2008 and has an extensive background in many investment choices, products, and financial planning situations. Scott served as a Licensed Relationship Manager at Key Investment Services and as a Senior Investment Executive/Program Manager at Lake City Investments prior to joining Financial Partners, Inc. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tri-State University with a major in Finance and his Master’s degree in business administration from Trine University. He also holds an AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) and CRC® (Certified Retirement Counselor) credentials that help him to plan for his clients future plans.

Scott is the Treasurer of the ADEC board of directors in Elkhart County.  He is a believer in ADEC's mission of supporting and advocating for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live lives full of informed choice and possibility.

Scott is a committee member for Lemonade Day of Elkhart County. He loves this program because of how it teaches children about the importance of entrepreneurship.

Scott lives in Elkhart with his wife, Megan and their three sons Hayden, Griffin, and Rowen, as well as their two dogs Riley and Copper.  In his spare time, Scott can be found watching his boys participate at sporting events, golfing, cooking, attending Chicago Cubs/Bears games, Notre Dame games, and spending time in the warm months with his lake family on Witmer Lake in Wolcottville.

Adam believes that helping a client figure out the why in their financial journey, will help make sure their goals can be achieved. Focusing on the clients goals and needs through planning allow us to create a roadmap for success. He has a passion for not only assisting clients with their live on funds, but creating strategies that seek to maximize their leave on funds. Adam feels that generational planning is a key area that most people are missing in their financial plans today.

Adam has been in the financial industry since 2003. He started his career with National City before moving to MetLife. Next, Adam served as a National Sales Manager for Jackson Brokerage where he focused on product knowledge and agent training within bank programs. He helped create a Wealth Transfer focus that is still used with their clients today. Adam spent the last 13 years at Lake City Bank, where he served as a Senior Investment Executive and Co-Program Manager.

When Adam is in not in the office he enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife of 19 years, Josie, and their 2 children, Christopher and Natalia. He enjoys golfing and being outside as much as possible.

As an Accounts Manager for Financial Partners Inc, Destinee is committed to providing world class service to our clients. She enjoys deepening relationships with our clients and believes in helping them meet their needs.

Destinee has been involved in financial services for 9 years. During which she has acquired her Series 66, Series 7 (both licenses held with LPL Financial), & Indiana Life &. Health Insurance license. She recently became a CPFA (Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor) to help service our business clients. She obtained her Associates in Business from Ivy Tech.

Destinee lives in Nappanee with her husband Michael and their two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and likes to travel/explore new places when she can.

Tracie Dygert

Tracie joined Financial Partners, Inc. in 2007 as a Client Services Specialist. She is a primary point of contact between clients and our Wealth Advisors, providing support and service to ensure a positive client experience.

Tracie graduated from The University of Georgia with a BA in Political Science. Her career began as a Paralegal at a law firm in Athens, Georgia where she developed the strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills that she continues to implement to service our clients.

Outside of the office you will find Tracie enjoying family, friends and long walks with her dog.
